Topical Cream is a New York-based arts organization supporting the work of women and gender non-conforming contemporary artists.

In Spring 2019, Topical Cream’s friends and family gathered at the 50 Bowery rooftop bar to celebrate our sixth anniversary. Flaunt Magazine picked up the story. Our guests walked through an installation of Sahra Motalebi’s operatic voice booming through the massive blacked-out space of the 50 Bowery hotel lobby to reach the elevator and guests on the top floor.

Artists Nicole Eisenman and Theresa Chromati were honored with custom Ilegal Mezcal cocktails and Whitney Fred, Ren G, Dese Escobar, and Venus X DJ’ed. The party mood was gothic Miami, with hot pink lighting and palm trees. Friends of Topical Cream arrived in their very best Frieze party week looks for the occasion.
